Just last week, rumours spread that Nollywood actress, Ebube Nwagbo has rekindled her affair with the Limpopo singer, Kcee and that she now stays in his house.
               
But the actress has debunked the rumour, saying there's no iota of truth in it.

According to her, she's currently in her house on the mainland and doesn't have anything to do with Kcee anymore.Woah ! Never knew this beautiful chick had something to do with Kcee

Having been in the movie industry for over a decade, Temitayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo, has had her fair share of scandal and negative press. In this interview with TAYO GESINDE, the mother of one said she took the negative publicity as the price to pay for stardom and as a result, never allowed it to get to her.

She also spoke on her fashion preferences and the qualities she wants in a man.

Foray into acting
I never knew that I was going to act at all, my parents wanted me to study Law or Mass Communication. However, shortly after I finished my Senior School Certificate Examination, my friend came to my house and told me that an audition was taking place in Charles Novia’s office at Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere. When I got to the audition I did well and was asked to play the role of a hired assassin for Segun Arinze, the movie was titled HIRED ASSASSIN. I was given about six scenes to do. When Segun Arinze discovered that I was a Yoruba girl, he told me to hook up with a lady, I did and she invited me to her location. That was how I started getting roles, extras, party scene and all that until Sikiratu Sindodo brought me into limelight. When I joined the industry, all I wanted to do was to act and impress all the people around me, I never thought about money at all. Acting, I discovered, was my passion. I can’t do any other thing aside acting, I will act and act a million times. All my movies are my favourites  because as an actress, I have to  play any role assigned to me, so I like all the characters that I played in all my movies.

Former EME Star, Skales Denies rumour Reports

Earlier in the week, it was all over that Skales who was dropped by Davido's HKN records is now singed on to Timaya's Dem Mama Records, and that he also leaves in Timaya's house.
    
Setting the records straight, Skales has denied signing unto Timaya's label or staying in his house.

NET's investigation says although the rapper is in talks with Timaya, he has another record label offer and is currently weighing his options.

In the movie, Lala Akindoju leads as a sickle- cell sufferer who strives to overcome social stigma, prejudice and low self-esteem, determined to achieve success, marriage and motherhood.

Mercy Johnson's Ban - It Is Not a Ban But A Survival Strategy, says Ajaegbu

The last may not have been heard in respect of the controversy surrounding the alleged ban of the star actress, Mercy Johnson last year by the movie marketers.

It was gathered during the week that the marketers have vowed not to lift the ban until the actress has tendered a letter of apology to them through their umbrella body, Film and Video Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria, FVPMAN.

But HVP’s findings, however, revealed that all is not well with the rank and file in the marketers’ body since they slammed the ban on the actress for being expensive.

According to a reliable source, while the chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the association, Mr Nobert Ajaegbu granted an interview last year, dis-owing the proposed ban of the actress, his aggrieved members who were dissatisfied with his action have refused to pay their dues to the association.

Following this development, Mr. Ajaegbu is said to have changed his position in order to give peace a chance. He told HVP that he decided to retrace his steps after he found out that Mercy Johnson actually committed all the things she was accused of. “It was a case of established indiscipline on the part of Mercy Johnson,”Ajaegbu said.

Since you came back to acting after years of being away, how many films have you featured in so far?
You know I have been away for five years. I returned to the country in 2012, after my studies abroad. From 2012 till date, I have featured in about eight to ten films.
I travelled to America for further studies immediately after featuring in 2face’s “African Queen” video. I studied International Relations in a University in Cyprus.

Why didn’t you study Theater Arts?
A lot of people have asked this question. But I think I just wanted to study something outside of what I am used to, so that, I can broaden my mind.

Earlier this week, soft sell magazine – Icon Weekly, ran a story that music superstar 2Face Idibia is expecting a child with a “Lagos Top Banker”.
                            
The lady who is allegedly pregnant for 2Baba, is named Teniola. She is a graduate of University of Lagos and comes from Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti.

GAG President says Yvonne Nelson is Ungrateful

Nii Odoi Mensah, President of the Ghana Actors Guild (GAG) has described actress Yvonne Nelson as a very ungrateful person.

His comment is in response to her recent statement that the "Guild did not come to her rescue when she was banned from acting by the Film Producers of Ghana (FIPAG) in 2010."                                   
"When my issue came up, the Actors Guild did nothing for me. They only came, sat, had some meetings and that was all. They did nothing for me," Yvonne Nelson stated when she appeared on the Hanging Out With KOD television show over the weekend.

Skales Part Ways With EME

 

Rapper Skales, whose real name is "Raoul John Njeng-Njen has parted ways with Empire Mates Entertainment(EME) after the expiration of his contract.

Unlike the minor arguments that had ensued with several artistes before, during or after leaving their label, Skales had exited E.M.E as quietly as a shadow.
As at the time of this report, he has removed E.M.E badges and signatures from all of his social media pages and handles except for his Twitter wallpaper which still carries the old label.


"Skales plans to move on with his own music label M.et.al and has re-directed all booking enquiries to new numbers and email addresses".
Sources say the contract with Skales was not renewed because the label had not been able to recoup investments made on him. Does this mean that Skales isn't doing well? Hmmmmm!

Wizkid and Skales were signed on in 2010 with Wizkid moving on to becoming an internationally selling sensation. Skales rippled through briefly with his first single 'Komole' which he released in 2012.

Then, there was the endless talk of an album he was working on, but that never fell through. Skales having waited for four years, had equally agreed that it was time to move on.

Shooting of Avenger Movie Leads to Road Closure

"About four or five streets have been affected," said Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar.

Nigerian Hip-Hop star, Eedris Abdulkareem, said he has invested millions of naira he earned from music in a large-scale agro-business in Kano, North-west, Nigeria.

The rapper disclosed that he now spends most of his free time managing his farmland where he cultivates maize and other crops for export, and the business has been high yielding for him.

“I am a farmer now. Since 2001, I have been fully engaged in agricultural activities and have investment in metals. I have vast land where I cultivate maize and other fruits for export in Kano,” Eedris told P.M.NEWS.

According to the musician, he spends more time in the North where his farm is based, as well as abroad where he gets his crops sold to those who need them.

 Nigerian Music Superstar, 2Face Innocent Idibia, has debunked the news spreading on the social media that he has impregnated another lady (a banker with one of the new generation banks in Lagos) and pleaded with her to abort the pregnancy.

In a series of Twitter messages posted on Monday night, the singer, whose wife, Annie Macauley-Idibia, recently put to bed another baby girl in the United States, said that the entire story of the pregnancy and abortion were “mere concocted lies” to portray him as an adulterer and tarnish his reputation.

Flavour said "he and MC Loph were never friends, but artistes who only worked together when they met through rapper, Mr. Nigga Raw".

“MC Loph and I weren’t as close as people thought. I met Loph through Mr. Raw when I came to Lagos. He wanted me to produce songs for him the same way I was producing for Mr. Raw. Somehow, we came together and we did the Osondi Owendi song. We later found out that we came from the same village. I played a very big part in the song.
“We were not friends at all. We just did a song together. People just had a misconception about the whole thing. I never told anybody this before and I still insist it is not something we should talk about,” Flavour said.

Beware! Your Favourite Restaurant Could Be Serving You Human Meat

 Beware while ordering your favourite non-vegetarian dish in a restaurant as you might be served human meat. Yes, in a startling revelation it has come to light that fresh human meat was being served at Nigerian restaurant. I think I have heard sometthing similar so many times!

                             

After getting a tip-off, the police raided the hotel Anambra in southeast Nigeria and arrested 11 persons, including the restaurant's owner, on Thursday morning.

 

According to Nigerian tabloid Osun Defender, the police discovered two human heads wrapped in cellophane in the restaurant. Apart from the two human heads, the police also found two AK-47 rifles, 40 rounds of live ammunition and cellophanes from the unnamed hotel.

 

The newspaper has quoted a pastor, who is believed to have visited the restaurant, as saying, "I went to the hotel early this year, after eating, I was told that a lump of meat was being sold at N700, I was surprised. So, I did not know it was human meat that I ate at such expensive price."

 

The police sealed the restaurant for serving prohibited food items. Wonders shall Never Cease!
