Conversation Time: Why Do Most Parents Refuse to Accept Being Wrong?

Yes! I heard couple of youths complaining that their parents offend them most of the time and yet these same parents put the blame on them. So they had an opportunity to talk with a married man, who was willing to listen to their plights. They asked the man several questions that got him smiling but their was this certain lady who quoted this verse of the Bible saying:




Ephesians 6:4 " And ye Fathers, provoke not your children to wrath, but bring them up in nurture and admonition of the Lord".....

 

 So why do parents most times accuse us wrongly and when we tell them they refuse to hear our point of view. Parents always feel they right at all times.

They tend to always try to be perfect than God most times. Is it that they fear that their children will look at them with an eye of Lack of Trust, or they don't just want their children to know that they did anything wrong in the past What is your take on this?

#BringBackOurGirls Email Scam

As I was going through my yahoo mail I came across this from one of my favourite blog Ogbongeblog which I am subscribed to and decided to share this with you

The #BringBackOurGirls campaign which is aimed at pressurizing the Nigerian government to ensure the release of the kidnapped Chibok girls, has been hijacked by scammers. Some crooks are now exploiting the campaign to steal money from people especially the ones that care so much about the needs and happiness of other people.


The crooks are currently sending out a scam email claiming that one pregnant "Mary Sambo" is going through a tough time and needs help. The email claims Mary recently lost her husband to the terrorist attack in Nigeria and her daughters are among the girls kidnapped by Boko Haram.

Below is the email:

Hello,

My beloved brother and sister. I hope my message get to you in peace.

My name is Mary Sambo from Borno state in Nigeria. I am crying while putting this message together in the church hostel. I lost my husband to the terrorist attack that is happening in Borno state, my daughters was kidnap along with the 270 girls been kidnap in school chibok village in Nigeria, by the terrorist.

Which the entire world is now searching for them. I am 7 month pregnant and i am staying at the church hostel, we are 30 in a single room, i don't have access to good medical care and i am afraid my living condition might affect my unborn child.

I am asking for help from you in other for me to get a place for myself and also register myself to health center where i will get proper medical care. Please help me with anything you, May Almighty God reward you.

Prophet T. B. Joshua says " Committing Abortion After Rape is Double Sin"

Contrary to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s submission on abortion and rape, Prophet TB Joshua, during a Question and Answer session with his followers on Facebook has stressed that abortion after rape isn’t just a sin, but a double sin which has grave consequences.



Contradicting Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s teaching that abortion after being raped is not a sin, the General Overseer of the Synagogue Church Of All Nation, further said ”Committing an abortion when you are raped is a double sin. God often uses foolish things to express Himself.
Many great people and heroes today are products of this background. In any way, in any circumstance you find yourself today as you are reading this note, you have not committed any unpardonable sin. Run to Jesus; don’t run from Him in whatever situation you find yourself.”

Weeks ago, Chris Oyakhilome stated that abortion after being raped cannot be termed a sin.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! Who is now right?
